An Approach to Interest Management and Dynamic Load Balancing in Distributed Simulation

The paper discusses the distributed simulation of systems with large shared state and addresses issues related to interest management and dynamic load balancing. It identifies the efficient partitioning and distribution of the shared state as a key problem in such simulations and outlines a hierarchical multi-level interest management scheme which facilitates dynamic load balancing.
